I’ve seen you can use glycolic acid on strawberry skin but if I use it on my legs how long after can I shave?
Dr Sonia says:
Glycolic acid can help with strawberry skin (called keratosis pilaris) but can be irritating as it is an exfoliating acid. It’s best to wait about 24 hours after applying glycolic acid before shaving. This can help reduce the risk of sensitivity and razor burn.
You could also try shaving first, then applying glycolic acid the next day. Just be sure to moisturise well and use sunscreen if your legs are exposed to the sun!
