Now that spring is well and truly in the air, it might just be the perfect time to treat yourself to some new products. Hey, we’ll take *any* excuse for a pamper.

Whether you’re in the mood for a fresh, new season fragrance, you want to upgrade your makeup collection or you fancy becoming your very own home manicurist, here’s your guide to what could be adorning your bathroom shelf this spring.

Pick a perfume

There are some new spring-like fragrances that we are just dying to tell you about. Kayali Eden Sweet Peach (£110 from Boots UK /$150 from Sephora US) is a fruity, floral, velvety cocktail of notes like peach, red apple, jasmine and rose (to name a few), settling into a rich vanilla, praline and amber scent. And Kayali Eden Plush Pear (£110 from Boots UK / $150 from Sephora US) is equally beautiful, containing pear, mandarin, orange blossom, freesia, sandalwood and coconut water.

Contes de Parfums Positano (£175 from Liberty London UK) is a fresh, lemony, Italian-inspired fragrance that unlike other citrus perfumes, lasts and lasts on the skin. Plus, it jointly won in the fragrance category at last year’s Live That Glow Independent Beauty Awards – the highest accolade even if we do say so ourselves.

Do some home therapy

If you’ve made a pact with yourself to save money on gel mani appointments this spring, the Manucurist Discovery Set (£111 from Manucurist UK /$144 from Manucurist US) is an amazing solution (and truly works wonders – we’ve tried it).

The kit contains a curing lamp, as well as gel polish essentials from Green Flash, including the Green Flash Vitaminized Base Coat for a salon-worthy manicure from the comfort of your own kitchen table. Just choose your topcoat, which size lamp you want and your fave colour and you’ll never have to book a gel manicure again.

Or, if you’re in the market for some hi-tech body hair removal, the Ulike Air10 (£399.99 from Boots UK /$369 from Ulike US) is a super powerful IPL machine that annihilates hairs over 12 weeks. So, if you start now, you’ll be ready in time for summer. Handy!

Give your body a glow up

If you’re conscious about stretch marks (honestly, we’re all in this together), you can follow the Stria Lab Stretch Mark Programme (£39.99 per month from Stria Lab). It’s 12 weeks long, contains a roller, cream and serum and seriously changes the look and texture of stretch marks.

If you’ve experienced post shaving pigmentation, the Megababe Night Rescue Overnight Brightening Stick (£14 from Cult Beauty UK /$16 from Megababe US) might be just what you need. Use anywhere from the neck down before you go to bed and it’ll work while you sleep to aid discolouration and help brighten the skin.

If you’re really in the mood to treat yourself, consider the Sensica Sensifirm Anti-Cellulite Skin Toning (£427 from Sensica UK /$449 from Sensica US) for firming up your skin for swimsuit season. OK, it’s not one for those on a budget (*eyes start watering*) but it makes an impressive difference to the appearance of cellulite on areas like thighs and upper arms. And, believe it or not, it’s way cheaper than going in-clinic.

Treat your hair to some TLC

The Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (£41 from Sephora UK /$55 from Philip Kingsley US) is an oldie but a goodie that we couldn’t resist mentioning again now that spring is here. Because name us a better time to start treating your hair to some serious moisture and repair than in the lead up to summer? If you’ve got dry, coarse hair and use this consistently, we guarantee it will noticeably impact its condition in a really, really good way.

For healthy home colour this spring/summer, Schwarzkopf Crème Supreme (£12 from Boots UK) is a hair colour system that protects and cares for the hair all the way through the home-colouring process. Unsure of how to colour your hair? Lesley Jennison, Schwarzkopf Expert hair colourist and global ambassador is here to help.

“When applying colour at home, work methodically through the roots in small sections,” she says. “Ensuring the hair is fully saturated helps deliver even, seamless results.” Remember to always read the instructions. “Always stick to recommended development times! Over-processing won’t improve coverage and can lead to unwanted tones or stressed hair. Set a timer!”

Colouring grey hair? “Not all colours tackle resistant greys effectively,” Jennison warns. “Look for products specifically stating ‘100% grey coverage’ such as Schwarzkopf Creme Supreme. They have the pigment power for a seamless, natural finish and guaranteed grey coverage.” Roger that.

Caring for your hair throughout the colouring process is also essential. “My golden rule? Nurture your hair, before, during, and after colouring for vibrant, shiny, strong hair that lasts,” Jennison adds. “Post-colour care is vital for vibrancy. A good conditioning mask after colouring helps seal the cuticle, protecting your new shade and keeping hair healthy. Less fading, more shine between washes!”

Avoid those summer nasties too if you can. “Sun, heat, chlorine, they all strip colour,” she warns. “Always use heat protectants, consider UV spray, and wet hair with fresh water before swimming. These habits preserve vibrancy and prevent damage.”

Invest in some seriously cute makeup

Can we just talk about the Paul & Joe Beaute spring collection It has the cutest, most spring-like packaging we have ever seen and is guaranteed to up the ante when it comes to your makeup bag’s aesthetics. The prices of the lipsticks are surprisingly affordable and the formulas are really creamy (although, let’s face it, even if they weren’t we’d still want them…)

Get a headstart on your tan

A tanning brand that keeps cropping up on our algorithms recently is Loving Tan. With so many different products available – around 30 to be exact – you are guaranteed to find at least one tanner to suit your tanning needs as the weather gets warmer. We particularly love the sound of the 2HR Express Face Self-Tanning Serum (£33 from Boots UK /$42 from Loving Tan US) – a fast-developing tan with skin benefits? Sign us up!

Upgrade your skincare

This is your official reminder that the Dr Idriss Depuffer (£39 from Dr Idriss UK /$38 from Dr Idriss US) is amazing for de-swelling and brightening the eye area. Use it consistently every day and you’ll have pretty, brighter eyes in time for summer.

And speaking of brightening… the Glow Recipe LHA + AHA Exfoliating Korean Toner Pads (£27 from Sephora UK /$30 from Sephora US) contain a blend of 5 exfoliating acids to smooth, soothe and hydrate the skin. They’re fragrance free too so perfect for sensitive skin types and have been described as ‘a Korean facial in 5 minutes.’ *Adds to spring wish list*

If you experience Keratosis Pilaris (those annoying tiny bumps on your arms), our editor in chief Sally Underwood can vouch for The Inkey List Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Body Stick (£15 from Cult Beauty UK /$19.50 from Sephora US). “I have managed to completely get rid of the KP that had blighted my upper arms for almost 30 years just by using this for a few weeks. It’s perfect for pre summer/post-winter bodies.”

And finally, The Inkey List Exosome Serum (£20 from The INKEY List UK /$22 from The INKEY List US) is your new spring skincare bestie if you love that just-had-a-facial glow. It contains, er, 3 million plant-based exosomes and promises to brighten and renew the skin in two weeks. The perfect solution for when you’re coming out of hibernation.

The takeaway

So, that’s your spring skincare, haircare, body care and makeup bag well and truly sorted for the new season. Don’t say we never give you anything! And psst… if you can’t choose between them and decide to purchase everything, you have our full understanding and support (just saying). Happy springtime!
