Reviwing Olio E Osso's Tinted Balms

Is THIS Multitasker the Secret to Dewy Blusher in Seconds?

You know how easy it is to buy a load of different products but then just find yourself coming back to the same one or two over and over again because you love them so much?

Well for me over the last couple of summers and autumns, it’s come down Bybi’s Babe Balm Bronze (such a genuinely lovely multi-purpose product) and to Olio E Osso’s Tinted Balm in No 8 Persimmon; two warm, coppery tones that look lovely in the sunnier months.

In particular, Olio E Osso’s stunning burnt-orange colour leaves a dewy wash of dark coral on cheeks and lips- perfect for a sun-kissed post-beach look.

Containing a shea butter, olive oil and beeswax formula, this balm doesn’t pull the skin as I apply (at least not here in the heat) and doesn’t block my pores or feel greasy (like dewy formulas occasionally can).  As an added bonus, the whole line is Cruelty-free.

Great for: A dewy pop of summer colour.  Natural, skin-friendly formula fans. Cruelty-free.

Not-so-great for:  Those very sensitive to essential oils as this contains grapefruit oil (which on the plus side does give this a lovely scent). It is a fairly small product at 10g but also pretty well pigmented so I’m not running out in a hurry.

Olio E Osso’s Tinted Balm is £27 for 10 g, Naturisimo UK and $28 for 0.35 oz/ 10 g, Olio E Osso US
