Dewy Skin + Natural-Looking Coverage from this Cult Foundation?
Main Image – Live That Glow
Ah no makeup-makeup; so great for the kind of lazy girl routine I love so much, so great for the natural look I’m a big fan of.
And the obvious choice for foundation? The Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint.
Glossier Skin Tint
A bit like Kosas’s Tinted Face Oil in its thin texture and ability to apply quickly with fingers, Skin Tint offers the sort of sheer, glowy coverage that dewy skin dreams are made of.
Perfect for someone like me who hates the feel of a heavy texture on their skin, Skin Tint has a formula much like MAC’s Face and Body- light and dewy.
Glycerin, castor seed oil and corn oil also make this hydrating and moisturising while on (meaning no dry patches and that I can get away with using slightly less moisturiser). While its thin texture makes this very workable, I do find that it also means I need to use quite a bit of this to get a medium coverage going, however.
Ideal for fans of the natural look or those who don’t need a ton of coverage, Skint Tint also makes a great cruelty-free alternative to MAC’s Face and Body (an extremely similar formula to my mind).
The Takeaway
Its dewy finish is perfect for my heavy foundation aversion, but those who prefer more coverage or a matte look may not be such fans.
I also love how super quick and easy this is to apply with fingers or a brush, and the fact that it’s vegan, although I could have done without the alcohol and several silicones, (although neither has ever irritated my skin here).
Great for: Subtle, no-makeup looks.
Not-so-great for: Those who don’t like silicones in their products.
