Does anyone else find that dewy foundations make peach fuzz so obvious? In sunlight it’s all I can see. Is this a prep thing or just… reality?
Ruby says:
A bit of both. Light-reflecting textures will always show what’s already there, especially in daylight. The goal isn’t to erase texture but to control where the glow sits.
Prep skin so it feels hydrated but not slippery. Apply dewy products sparingly and keep luminosity to the high points of the face rather than everywhere. Avoid heavy buffing – pressing product into the skin gives a smoother result than swirling.
Choose soft-focus or satin finishes over high-shine. And finish with a finely milled powder used very lightly can take the edge off excess glow without dulling the skin or accentuating peach fuzz.
